We are looking for a Cell Culture Senior Technician to assist in production of monoclonal antibodies. You will support the scale up of hybridoma cell lines using hybridoma monoclonal antibody technology and help to create master and working cell banks. You will also assist in maintaining processes and procedures for mycoplasma and contamination control
You will have A-levels or NVQ-3 and several years experience working with suspension cultures and in operation of disposable bioreactors such as wavebag reactors. You have practical lab-based experience gained in either cell culture or a biological engineering environment. Good aseptic technique and the ability to carry out multiple projects simultaneously without cross-contamination of cultures is essential.
Knowledge of serum and protein-free media that routinely support mammalian cell growth would be an advantage.
